Implant Dentistry

Dental implants, also known as endosseous root-form dental implants, replace the tooth's root structure. The dental implant is threaded on the inside to allow a crown to be tightened into the implant. Typically, when a single tooth or several teeth next to one another are missing, we may recommend an implant for each tooth. However, if all the teeth in one arch are being replaced, an implant for every tooth is not recommended.
