 Smile design is a customized process that focuses on improving the appearance, balance, and function of a patient’s smile. It takes into account facial features, tooth shape, color, alignment, and gum contours to create a natural, harmonious result.

Two of the most common tools used in smile design are:

• Veneers: Thin porcelain or composite shells that are bonded to the front of teeth. They can reshape teeth, close gaps, correct minor misalignments, and improve color for a brighter, more uniform smile.
• Invisalign®: A clear aligner system that gradually straightens teeth without traditional braces. It helps correct crowding, spacing, and bite issues, often serving as the foundation for a smile redesign before veneers or other cosmetic treatments are placed.
